Midas Recruitment is delighted to partner with this very successful and growing service-sector company, based in great offices in Sutton Coldfield, that wishes to hire a new Credit Controller.
**Responsibilities**:
In this vibrant, 'high-volume, low value' transactions environment, the varied duties will include;
- Develop and manage relationships with customers (approximately 700 live accounts)
- Resolve queries with clients
- Arrange approval of credit limits/credit checks of new customers
- Flag up any potential problematic accounts to Senior Management
- Liaise with the 'invoice discounter partner' reconciling accounts on a monthly basis
**Experience**:
Ideally, the new Credit Controller will have the following background and characteristics;
- An excellent clear telephone manner
- An organised approach
- A polite, but firm approach to resolving invoice queries, and challenging slow payers
- Effective working in a busy, dynamic, office environment
- A client relationship builder
- Familiar with using the Sage Accounting system (or similar)
- Prior experience working alongside an invoice discounter would be advantageous
**Working hours and Benefits package**:
- The role is offered on a permanent basis, and is office-based, 35 hours per week
- The base salary budget is £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)
- With over 30 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays) and pension.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
