Yumchop Foods is a growing manufacturing and retailing food business. We are seeking expansion to our team to work within production and support the data quality aspect of the production tasks.

A Production and Data Officer who takes pride in their work, takes ownership of their part of the production process and who is committed to delivering high quality products for our customers.

To work as a Production Officer where the main activities include:

- Weighing up, mixing, packing, stacking and ingredient handling
- Ensure a quality process throughout from the product to the packaging, to adhering to corporate quality standards
- Ensure relevant paperwork is completed on time, and suggest improvements where applicable
- Support the Production/QA manager by reviewing and ensuring any required checks and documentation relating to production processes are completed on time.
- Generate and control all factory system paperwork and the continual improvement of this
- Ensure that technical governance is in place to deliver audit compliance with respect to internal, external, legal and customer requirements
- Completion of all inventory and stock taking information in the company’s food traceability system.
- Complete pre-production hygiene checks & testing to ensure equipment, machinery and buildings are cleaned and disinfected to the required standards and operate in a safe manner.
- Order required stock (PPE, chemical and miscellaneous products).
- Communicate (respond/answer queries) with customers and companies (written & verbal) in a timely manner.
- Complete task accurately and in a timely manner

To be successful for this role, you will be:

- Graduate calibre
- Food and Hygiene Level 3 certification
- HACCP Level 2
- Have experience of conducting risk assessments.
- Be very organised and motivated.
- Have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have experience in external audits carried out by governing bodies and customers.
- Be able to communicate & follow up with other departments to feedback information and data.
- Have a good understanding in all processing tasks carried out

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
