**Pensions Administrator**
£29,000 - £32,500 plus benefits (Work Level 6B)

You’ll complete your training at our Manchester office, then you’ll work in a hybrid way, dividing your time between working from home and in the office.

We’re looking for a pensions administrator to help us to deliver an outstanding service to members of one the UK’s largest pension schemes. With new projects on the horizon and a supportive team culture, you’ll be joining us at an exciting time.

In this role, we’ll look to you to provide a great service to all members of our Co-op pension schemes. You’ll process a wide range of benefits for our members, using your specialist knowledge to handle a variety of different queries. What you’ll do
- make sure all member benefits are calculated and paid accurately and processed in time, in compliance with scheme rules and pensions legislation
- provide an outstanding customer service to all pension scheme members
- proactively contribute to the team and share ideas for continuous improvement
- develop and maintain accurate records of all our members pensions information
- support the delivery of different project workstreams across our pension schemes relating to legislation, scheme design and business strategy

This role would suit people who have
- previous experience of defined benefit pensions, or defined contributions pensions
- an up to date understanding of relevant UK pension legislation
- good mathematical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and situations
- good organisation skills, with the ability to manage own workload whilst supporting the team
