**Digital Content Specialist**

Digital Content Specialist is required to join the Digital Client Experience team of a leading financial services organisation with offices in the heart of the City (hybrid working). Within this role you will work across the organisation’s multiple websites/brands to create new content as well as review existing content to ensure it is fully optimised and on-brand. You will also assist in educating stakeholders regarding the importance and power of good content and have input in the overall content strategy.This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving and rapidly expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content creation and editing for websites
- Content ideation and development for a variety of channels / formats
- Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders inc. content writers, designers, UX, developers, marketers
- Ensure digital content is fully optimised and edited for SEO and UX best practice
- Build out content and new pages in our CMS
- Collaborate with the Digital Content Manager in developing and executing content strategies and contributing to best practice and team processes
- Lead on content strategy in specific markets / product areas
- Manage small projects for content work from scoping to writing and through to delivery with our stakeholders and team
- Monitor the emergence of new platforms and technologies and offer insights into tactics that will increase engagement
- Give feedback on others’ writing in a compassionate, constructive manner
- Work with our internal teams and agencies to bring concepts and ideas to life
- Play an active part in building a global community of practice for content
- Ensure all content published is factually correct and approved by all parties (stakeholders, legal and compliance teams)
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders worldwide and set and manage expectations
- Use data to inform the effectiveness of content and to drive continuous improvement and increased engagement.

Key Experience and Skills:

- Lateral thinker with a passion for creativity and writing
- Articulate, clear communicator, comfortable expressing ideas
- Outgoing enough to build strong stakeholder relationships, whilst also happy to sit alone for hours engrossed in creative projects
- Strong creative writing skills - please provide examples
- Adept at all forms of copy, from micro-copy to long form
- Editing and proof reading skills - great attention to detail
- Able to give (and receive) constructive feedback
- On-page SEO knowledge and understanding of social best practice
- Experience with a content management system
- Demonstrable knowledge of content marketing best practice
- Skilled at adapting tone of voice for different brands and audiences
- Experience delivering and measuring multi-channel content campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Influencing skills - able to win buy-in from stakeholders for your ideas
- Able to adapt communication style for various stakeholders, audiences and cultural nuances
- Tenacious, determined, problem solver with good self-awareness
- Communicative, collaborative team player
- Avid reader, quick to learn new things and topics
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital content creation
