This leading law firm is looking for a Senior BD & Client Development Manager to support its financial services and investment funds practice group in London and Dublin and across EMEA, as well as other strategic initiatives.

The Senior BD & Client Development Manager must be able to interact at all levels of the firm. Whilst there will be a great deal of interaction with members of the Marketing Department and business support teams, this individual will also work closely withlawyers. Responsibilities include:
**Business Development**:

- Overseeing the development and implementation of practice group plans and business development activities beyond pitches, such as client targeting initiatives and pipeline management.
- Driving the Firm’s strategic client programs, including the day-to-day management of a number of client teams and identifying new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

**Pitches and Presentations**:

- Developing successful and tailored pitches, presentations and responses to RFPs for specific clients/ prospects/industries/sectors and tracking of pitch efforts.

**Credentials and Bios**:

- Developing and maintaining content for use in the practice groups’ marketing and business development initiatives including capability statements, practice group overviews and credentials, biographies, experience, team sheets and rankings on the websiteand internal systems.

**Client Communications/Collateral**:

- Overseeing a range of client communications including legal updates, announcements, newsletters, specific thought leadership campaigns and working closely with the web team to create compelling online content and overseeing printing, distribution and storageof collateral.
- Working closely with the Firm’s digital team, to create relevant social media communications via LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, as appropriate.
- Working closely with the communication team, managing PR activities to build profile and visibility of the practice areas, offices and individual lawyers within their target markets.

**Data/Infrastructure**:

- Supporting and driving the adoption and integration of various key business development tools including a pitch & proposals database, business development opportunities report, CRM, experience database, assisting with CRM database reporting and contactresearch, with support from the client development assistant.

You will also have line management responsibilities for 1 - 2 individuals, mentoring and serving as a resource for colleagues with less experience and oversee the marketing and client development aspects of the onboarding and integration of new lawyers.You will strategise with key internal stakeholders and marketing colleagues to determine priorities and areas of focus of marketing budgets, manage allocations and track ROI. You will support other global marketing and client development initiatives that arealigned with the firm's strategy and the marketing department goals.

You will have proven experience in a professional services environment required, preferably a law firm, excellent organisational, writing and planning skills, be able to prioritise multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and coordinate work. You must beproficient with Microsoft Office; Interaction is a plus and possess good interpersonal skills; be polite and professional, with a positive manner.
