People & Learning Adviser

London, United Kingdom Inviqa Full time

**Role**:People & Learning Adviser _(Part-time/Maternity cover)_
**Salary**:£32,000 - £40,000 FTE** **_(depending on experience)_
**Location**:Havas Village London, _3 Pancras Square_, London, N1C 4AG.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic people person to join our lovely team, to support us while a colleague takes her maternity leave. You’ll work across both the People and Learning teams, using your knowledge and experience to help us build a strong culture and a great place to work. You’ll need to be organised and comfortable working autonomously - but collaborative and happy to jump in and help where it’s needed. We are a small, super friendly and supportive team and will be there to help you too

**About the Role**:
However, we are a small, fast moving business and things change quickly, so we need someone who is keen and able to jump into all aspects of HR and and Learning - from running training sessions, supporting line managers and handling employee questions to rolling out initiatives, managing data and systems and helping to maintain our caring and collaborative culture through ongoing change. There’s a lot of scope to bring good ideas to the table and turn them into reality - so if you’re keen to make a positive impact, this is the place for you. You’ll work closely with our Senior HR Adviser and Head of People and Learning, along with senior managers, to help us deliver on our initiatives while keeping the day to day plates spinning.

We think Inviqa is a pretty awesome place to work, but we want someone to help us make it even better. We have a lot of positive initiatives we want to deliver, and we can’t do it without the extra pair of hands. This is a fixed term contract that will run from September 2023 to June 2024.

We love our values - Purpose, Human, Open, Learning and Together - they are at the heart of our decision making and guide the way we do everything in the P&L team. It’s vital that you are aligned to them. This means that you are goal-driven and deliver on your commitments, you empathise with clients and colleagues, you share knowledge and give honest feedback, you have a thirst for learning, and you collaborate as a default. As part of the P&L team, you will help to model and foster those values and behaviours across the business.

You:

- Are a problem solver with a positive attitude
- Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to communicate messages clearly, concisely and kindly
- Are confident in building strong professional relationships based on empathy and trust
- Are super organised with strong attention to detail
- Love to collaborate and are a real team player
- Are pragmatic, and use your common sense to find practical solutions
- Are able to work autonomously, while supported by a team
- Take a proactive approach and look for opportunities to improve how we do things
- Have a sense of humour

On the People side, you must have:

- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
- Solid grounding in U.K. employment law, and experience of using this in practice in handling employee matters
- Experience of preparing contracts, letters etc
- Experience in recruitment - interviewing, managing the process and using LinkedIn to promote roles

Nice to haves - not a dealbreaker
- Experience using Workday
- German language skills
- Experience of working on People and/or learning projects

**Flex alert**:
We believe that all roles can be done flexibly and we encourage all Inviqans to work in the way that suits them best. Provided you deliver what you should, and it has no negative impact on colleagues, we trust you to know when and where are the best places for you to work and can accommodate all kinds of different working patterns. For this role we are looking for someone to do around 26 hours a week (three and a half days) but this can be done as 5 short days (e.g around school hours) or another pattern - talk to us to find what works best for you and we’ll see what we can do.

**Why Inviqa?**:
You’ll be part of a friendly supportive team who are dedicated to creating an amazing experience for our people. You will be supported to develop your skills and experience both through our dedicated training budget. We offer a genuinely flexible working environment, 25 days holiday plus mental health days, birthday day off and time off over the Christmas period, paid dependents’ leave, pension scheme, and a company full of fantastic people.

With offices across the UK, Germany and Hungary, we’re a local agency with global reach. Our vision is to create the best possible experiences for each other, our clients and their customers.
