**Trainee Courier Clerk**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Courier Clerk to join our team based at our Leeds, Wortley site.

**Purpose of the role**

**Main duties and responsibilities**

**What you do**:

- Understanding the customers’ requirements
- Understanding profitability
- Arranging the shipments
- Logging shipments
- Tracking and monitoring shipments
- Providing customer updates
- Producing Invoices to customers

**Person specification**
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
- A good level of numeracy and attention to detail
- IT skills (Microsoft Office and Warehousing Systems)
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Able to use initiative and organise own workload
- Creative approach to problem solving and to thinking ’outside the box’

**Shift pattern**:

- Monday to Friday between 09:00-17:30hrs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,319.00 per year
