You will use your existing proven administrative skills to support our legal professionals who work across the whole spectrum of adult social care work. You will be a flexible committed team player with excellent communication and IT skills, attention to detail / accuracy, and be able to work at a fast pace and under pressure to strict deadlines to help achieve the desired outcomes.
You will be working in a small team providing administrative and business support to our lawyers and legal officers. You will work flexibly to meet the changing needs and priorities of the legal service and its clients.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate in written and verbal correspondence concerning highly sensitive matters.

Torbay Council is a COVID Secure Workplace and as such the legal team are currently working a hybrid / blend of home and office working.
**Interviews are expected to be conducted during the week commencing 01st April 2024.**
**Skills**:
Essential:
- Ability to work on initiative and as a strong team player.
- Ability to collate and interpret information from a wide range of courses and use it appropriately.
- Ability to use computerised systems and be a confident user of IT.
**As this post meets the requirements of the Immigration Act 2016 (part 7), the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.**
**Knowledge**:
Essential:
- Working in office environment and knowledge of standard administrative procedures.
- Collating and using information from different sources.
- Maintaining accurate, methodical records.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
Essential:
- Experience of managing conflicting priorities and work tasks.
- Experience of working in a multi disciplinary team.
- Education to GCSE/ O Level Standard or equivalent.
