The Kith Store Ltd team is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join their team in our St. Austell location. Our Sales Associate will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting. They will also assist customers with product research and product comparisons.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and providing products information and support
- Operate POS (point of sale system) using cash handling, inventory, and returns procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of store and floor
- Assist customers by providing product information and assisting with product research
- Perform store opening, closing, and merchandising duties as required, while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep store clean and organized
- Participate in ongoing inventory, store activity, and staff meetings
- Assists with opening and closing duties including setting up sales displays, replenishing stock, adjusting inventory controls, preparing sales invoices, and preparing closing statements
- Other duties assigned by manager to meet job responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience required
- Must be able to work independently or as a team member in a team environment; must be willing to assist others when necessary; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent customer service skills; ability to deal effectively with others; ability to learn quickly; ability to multi-task; strong attention to detail required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28/35 per week

**Salary**: £8.05-£11.14 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
