We specialise in not only providing our clients with support submitting HMRC tax returns, but also offer a range of outsourced financial services including payroll and credit control provision (and much more) As a result of our expanded service offering, we are looking to add a new member to our team as a Tax Assistant.Supporting our Private Client Accountant, you will assist with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns for our constantly expanding client base. Typical responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the tax planning, preparation of self-assessment tax return & Ltd company accounts/returns
- Liaising with the Client Account Manager in completing the client onboarding & set-up process
- Build relationships with clients, ensuring you have all the required information to accurate process their accounts.
- Effectively schedule client tax returns to ensure an even workload throughout the calendar year.
- Carry out compliance work for personal/Ltd companies’ clients.
- Liaising with external parties in connection with accounting and financial information and data.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships across the group of companies to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
- Promote the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
- Continuous professional development to meet personal development needs

Our ideal applicant will have experience working within a similar role, preparing self-assessment tax turns within an accountancy practice. Strong IT skills are essential, and an ATT qualification (or equivalent) would be preferred.

You will often be the first point of call for clients looking to engage our services so you must be a confident and knowledgeable communicator.
