The Volunteer Administrator is required to contribute to the success of the Volunteer Engagement Department and our aim to deliver a first class volunteering experience at St Giles Hospice.

The Volunteer Engagement Administrator will work as a key member of the team developing the Volunteer Engagement Department. You will build and maintain relationships with key department leads and volunteers, and develop meaningful volunteering opportunities which deliver positive outcomes for both volunteers and the organisation.

You will play a key role in delivering and promoting the volunteering programme across St Giles Hospice by leading on the recruitment, induction and support of new volunteers. You’ll know how to work to deadlines and understand the importance of team work.

You will recognise the need to recruit volunteers to support the organisation and you’ll work with departments across the organisation to support them in their day to day volunteering with us.

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
