We’re currently recruiting for a Procurement IT Category Manager to support our on-going programme of M&A integration activity and join our forward-thinking and effective team who thrive on delivering strong results.

You’ll look after the financial and supplier relationship interests of our world-class organisation; whilst outlining, delivering and leading our category management of IT expenditure.

**Your Role**:

- Lead the Procurement review of IT supplier integration opportunities across our UK and EMEA businesses. Work with and assess a broad range of IT expenditure, whilst delivering maximum value and benefit.
- Influence our behaviour for the procurement of appropriate goods and services.
- Collaborate with business counterparts in the US to seek opportunities for mutual learning and benefit. There may be huge advantage to our bulk buying power
- Handle and mitigate any risks that are linked to our purchasing activity. Align with agreed group policies, legal requirements, regulation and professional ethics.
- Manage the commercial, legal and service level negotiations of contracts, renewals and disputes.
- Maintain and grow a strong awareness of advancements in purchasing techniques, product technology and supply market activity.

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- A degree or equivalent in a commercial or business field.
- IT category management experience is essential to establish credibility with internal and external partners.
- Successful track record in delivering and leading IT category plans, with experience of delivering tangible savings and other non-financial benefits.
- A powerful project manager, with a successful, consistent record of achieving time and budget constraints.
- Strong communication skills, time management and ability to prioritise workload effectively. Confident in nurturing relationships with senior colleagues.
- Eligible to work in the UK
