We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented salesperson to determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales. The salesperson's responsibilities include effectively dealing with all our customers' requirements, recommending solutions when necessary. Assisting the site Depot Manager to deal with all admin tasks required and running the branch during holiday periods. You will also be required to serve in the trade counter when necessary. You will also need to liaise with and order goods from our network of suppliers to ensure our customers receive their floorcoverings on time.

To be successful in our sales office, you should be persuasive and preferably have a knowledge of the flooring/construction trade or experience of multi product line distribution. Ultimately, an outstanding office based salesperson should have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills at all times.

**Sales Office Salesperson’s Responsibilities**:

- Answering incoming calls from customers.
- Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Calling potential customers to explain company products and encourage purchases.
- Answering customers' questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company products and the flooring industry.
- Serving customers in our Trade Counter.
- Informing buying team of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current customer and market needs.
- Salary dependent upon experience

**Sales Officer Requirements**:

- Proven sales experience preferable but not essential.
- Sound knowledge of sales strategies and flooring industry preferable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Fully IT proficient.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
