**£11.30 to £13.14 per hour. Salary from £9,401 (Based on 16 hours) plus 45p mileage rate**

**Alan is a Weekend Community Care Assistant for Clifton Homecare. He regularly tells people he loves his job. He joined from another care company and comes to work each day looking forward to the day ahead. Clifton Homecare are looking for care workers like Alan who are just as passionate. Alan chooses to work shift patterns across the weekend to fit around his lifestyle. He loves the flexibility of his role and the fact that he makes a difference to support others is an added bonus.**

Alan usually works 16 - 20 hours a week, supporting a number of regular clients to remain living independently at home. Alan says it feels like a privilege that he is able to build relationships with his clients. He feels that he gets so much more out of the work that he puts in and it doesn’t even feel like he is coming to work. Alan regularly supports William, often during the night. He makes sure William is comfortable for bedtime, ensuring he is safe and comfortable through the night. Alan wakes him in the morning and then attends to any personal care needs. William's wife, Dorothy says

Alan regularly tells people that he loves his job. He often says it's the most rewarding job he has ever had and wishes he had discovered social care sooner. He says:
