**Warehouse Administrator**

**Preston**

**£22,000 - £24,000 per annum, Negotiable**

**Hours: 9am - 5pm - Monday - Friday. 37.5 hours per week**

My client, a multi sited family run transport company, established for over 100 years are looking to recruit a new Warehouse Administrator to join their team at Preston.

**Working in a busy, fun and lively office, on the goods in team, your duties will include**:

- Preparing for goods arriving in our warehouse
- Working on their in house warehouse management system maintaining the accuracy of stock
- Investigating any discrepancies
- Ensuring stock that has arrived that day has been booked on the system and if not, chasing the warehouse
- Updating their Transport System and Warehouse Management systems
- Dealing with customer problems and providing delivery updates
- Liaising internally with all Departments to resolve any issues

**Who we are looking for:**
- Ideally experience gained in a similar warehouse administration role
- Very strong customer focus with excellent telephone manner and first class customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail
- Someone with loads of common sense and logic
- Someone who will roll their sleeves up and take ownership of a problem and look for solutions
- Someone who will go above and beyond for the benefit of their customer
- A strong team player
