The overarching purpose of this Dealer Auditor role will be to engage and interact with Motor Dealerships in a professional manner to proactively manage and mitigate the risk of loss through physical Audits and Account Management (i.e. Automotive Stock) belonging to LE Capital UK Limited in line with required targets and FCA requirements.

The primary responsibilities of this role are as follows:

- Using the Weekly/Daily list of Dealerships provided, devise and manage a journey plan which maximises the most cost-efficient routes to visit and complete an Audit of LE Capital physical assets on site.
- Record all seen Assets in the (CHECKS Electronic Auditing System) against stock lists displayed and record all sold and change of status in accordance with the LE Capital and Dealer Stocking Agreement to mitigate any potential increase of risk.
- Build a professional relationship with the Dealer Principle to ensure all Documents required to complete an Audit are on hand and available for inspection.
- Complete vehicle health and fit for sale checks on each anniversary of 60 days to a maximum and maturity time of 240 days.
- Ensure all offsite vehicles are tracked and are seen in person (or by live video call if off site for more than one occasion).
- Work closely with dealers to promote a good understanding of market conditions and where possible encourage the Dealer to remarket overage vehicles to help mitigate potential losses.
- Check the overall security of the site including alarm systems, access to vehicles, validity of key holders, etc. and that there is a current and valid insurance policy in place.
- Ensure any risks found are mitigated effectively and/or escalated in a timely manner to the relevant internal and external stakeholders so action can be taken.
- Build and maintain solid working relationships across the business, specifically across business development, loan operations, underwriting, dealer services, etc, to ensure effective management of LE Capital Ltd risk on LE Capital Ltd assets (i.e. Automotive Stock).
- Maintain and provide regular and accurate end of day reports via the CHECKS Electronic Auditing System and other communication methods.
- Develop own knowledge of relevant LE Capital Ltd products, regulatory practices and procedures, service standards, processing and systems relating to asset security.
- Contribute to company success through the consistent achievement of individual and team targets operating behaviourally in line with LE Capital company values and objectives.
- Attend when required all team briefing events and, or Online Seminars and Training Events.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Experience working in a client facing role with an understanding of dealerships and motor finance and or previous experience in an audit/asset security role is desired.
- Experience working to agreed SLA’s and a proven track record of prioritising workloads and maintaining a high level of attention to detail even when working under pressure.
- Able to build rapport and establish solid partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for LE Capital Ltd, deliver against key objectives and remain calm in high stress situations.
- Minimum requirement of Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at level C or above or proficient English and numerical skills.
- Computer literate, with high competence in Microsoft Office packages.
