AVO Productions is a fast growing content production agency that thrives on creativity and collaboration. We currency specialise in advertising campaigns and social media content and are also expanding into narrative content, music videos, and short/feature films. This role is perfect if you're eager to jumpstart a career in the film and media industry, grow with us and make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
We are looking for a Producer, Production Assistant or Production Manager to work with us on a freelance basis, with the opportunity for a full-time role in the future.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in all stages of production from pre to post, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively among crew members, talent, and other stakeholders.
- Manage logistics including booking crew, securing locations, and sourcing equipment.
- Participate in creative processes like storyboarding, scriptwriting, and creating mood boards.
- Develop detailed shot lists and help organise schedules using tools like Studio Binder.
- Support on-set activities, ensuring all needs are met for a successful shoot.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in a set environment, with a solid understanding of the production process.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Creative thinker with an ability to contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in production management software such as Studio Binder is highly desirable.
- A passion for the film and media industry, with a drive to learn and contribute.
**Work Environment**:
- Initial commitment of approximately 1 day per week, with the necessity to be on-site during shoots.
- Flexible scheduling options with potential to increase hours as the company grows.
