**Background to the role**:
Right now is Manchester’s time to shine. We are preparing to launch our first ever major fundraising and volunteering campaign.

**The Role**:
Continuing the development and implementation of the campaign identity and narrative will involve appropriate consultation and negotiation with senior leadership and senior supporters to secure buy-in and ownership.
You will have a senior role on various committees that coordinate the campaign, and will actively contribute to the overall strategic direction, delivery and success of the campaign.
You will be a senior communications professional with longstanding experience of fundraising and reputation-raising campaigns. You will understand brand, and marketing collateral, as well as complex stakeholder relations, preferably including donors, philanthropists and alumni. You will have excellent presentational and influencing skills, and be adept at gaining the consensus needed to drive projects forward in a complex organisation.
