**The Role**
We are looking for a Management Accounts Assistant to join our fun and high performing Group Finance team.

A general outline of our role:

- Assist management accountants in completion of DFS/Dwell monthly management accounts.
- Calculation and processing of month end processes (journals, reconciliations, control accounts) in timely and accurate manner.
- Monthly completion of relevant group balance sheet controls in a timely manner.
- Administer elements of weekly cash forecast files for group entities.
- Assist wider finance team to ensure new developments are appropriately reflected in accounting data.
- Assist completion of specific areas of management accounts across all group entities namely (Sales and AR, Payroll and people, stock related accounting).
- Liaison with relevant departments (AR, AP, stock, treasury, transactional and payroll teams) to resolve accounting issues and reconciling items.
- Pursue personal development opportunities and completion of relevant training and accounting qualifications.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects.

**About You**
A general guide to what skills we are looking for:

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively with relevant parties.
- Understanding of general ledger principles and double entry accounting.
- Comfortable working independently and seeking opportunities for personal growth.
- Good Excel skills including pivot tables, v lookups, formatting etc.
- Analytical capabilities, good attention to detail.
- Professional: Working towards AAT or CIMA/ACCA qualifications
- Experience of double entry accounting and high volume transactions.
