**Wedding Sales & Accommodation Administrator**
Mythe Barn is an award winning, independently owned and run exclusive use venue in the Midlands. We are also the host of a wonderful, up and coming tipi wedding venue. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic person who loves to talk to people, is passionate about weddings and has a sound sales and administration background.
**Mythe Barn Tasks Include**:
- To undertake all administration tasks associated with the smooth running of the Mythe Barn Wedding Sales and Courtyard Accommodation.
- Showing couples around our venue, discussing how the venue works for a wedding and how the venue can work for each individual couple.
- Knowing the ins and outs of our extensive catering options, tailoring options, timings and availability to each couple.
- Attendance at regular open days.
- Ensuring wedding literature packs are always available and stock checking where required.
- Entering wedding data into our CRM and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Invoicing and corresponding with couples regarding weddings and accommodation.
- Accommodation invoicing and taking and tracking payments.
- Checking bedrooms are ready to the highest standard for guests before their arrival.
- Requesting room lists in good time and confirming any dietary requirements to the catering team.
- Returning lost property.
- Scheduling sales staff rotas and organising training.
**Tipi Venue Tasks Include**:
- Being the first point of contact for prospective couples.
- Showing couples the tipi venue and discussing the wide range of possibilities to personalise their special day
- Raising contracts and requesting payments.
- Event planning and meeting with couples to go through the finer details of their day.
- Attendance at open days.
- Management and development of processes and procedures.
- Event management for weddings in the tipi.
**Essential for this role**:
- Wedding sales, accommodation sales and administration experience.
- A confident and outgoing personality.
- A caring and understanding customer service manner.
- Experience in raising invoices in SAGE.
**Beneficial for this role**:
- Relevant events degree.
- 3+ years’ experience of working within a hotel, wedding or events setting.
- 3 + years’ experience in administration.
We are based in a rural location; therefore, your own transport is essential.
This role is 24-40 hours per week to include regular weekend working (2 weekends in 4), plus Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's.

**Education**:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales administration: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
