The Best Western Dartmouth Hotel Golf & Spa is now recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead the housekeeping team.

The beautiful hotel has 35 bedrooms with luxury lodges which can sleep up to 6 people, and is nestled in the countryside surroundings of Blackawton.

Your key priorities will be to;
- Ensure that your team are developed to deliver standards, whilst displaying a proactive and innovative approach to skill development and enhancement in your team;
- Completion of department rotas
- Accurately assess the needs of the business in terms of staffing.
- To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained and monitored throughout the hotel as well as 7 lodges, and including public areas & linen stores.
- Co-ordinate constructively with both reception and reservations so that the day-to-day operational requirements are successfully delivered.
- Ensure your departmental budget is on target and all costs are kept to reasonable level. Complete orders as required for linen, cleaning materials and room items.

To be successful in this role, experience within a similar role will be beneficial and excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise, organise, multitask, be flexible and adaptable are essential. It is anticipated that 50% of this role will be working alongside your team, this is to ensure standards are being maintained for example, room checks. Therefore a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to work without constant supervision is essential.
