Salary - £13,294.17 per year
Location: West Yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Calderdale, Kirklees)
Hours: 21 hours per week (flexibility in working hours can be discussed)

**About Us**:
Kids is a leading charity dedicated to supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families. Our new project, Autism in Schools West Yorkshire, aims to make a significant difference in the lives of autistic children and young people by providing comprehensive support and training within school environments.
**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver training and workshops to school staff to enhance their ability to support autistic children and young people.
- Provide direct support and interventions for autistic children and young people within school settings.
- Implement and deliver workshops for children and young people, specific to the needs of each child or young person.
- Collaborate with school staff and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
- Monitor and evaluate the children and young people’s voice, feeding back to schools and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on the progress and outcomes of the project.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in autism support and education.
**Requirements**:
- Valid driving licence (essential) with willingness to travel across West Yorkshire.
- Significant experience working with autistic children and young people.
- Strong knowledge of autism and effective support strategies.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
