Working directly with the Technical Manager and Technical Team, as our Quality Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards and ensuring we meet our food safety and quality specifications.

- To inspect the product at intake and ensure they meet expected standards & customer requirements
- Ensure all procedures & policies within the QMS are adhered to
- Collect shelf-life samples & customer samples as requested by senior team
- Ensure checks, such as temperature & weighing equipment, are carried out as per procedures
- Ensure all finished product as packed and labelled by production is as per customer requirements
- Check production paperwork for accuracy and communicate with managers and other teams of any non-conformance issues
- Ensure that throughout the packing facility Good Manufacturing Practices are being adhered to
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and practices in line with the Storage and Distribution and any other business protocols
- QC/QA experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Organised
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent team member
- Good attention to detail
- Salary **£11.40 per hour (with an increase from the 1st April 2024)**

We are open 7 days a week and this role will involve you working 5 days a week on rotation-based shifts including some weekends. The standard shifts are 8.5 hours with a 30 minute break. The standard shifts would be:
6:30 - 15:00 and 13:30 - 22:00

Wholegood is based in a Warehouse in Greenford, West London.
