- We require a committed and experienced
**Customer Administrator**
to work for our well-established client based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire
**Salary**:
£22,000 - £23,000 per year
**Hours**:
9am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)
**Location**:
Abingdon, Oxfordshire
**About the role**:
- As
**Customer Administrator,**
your duties will include:
- Process books, subscriptions and events orders received by post, telephone and online.
- Pack and post orders that require sending from the office.
- Process donations received by all forms, including web donations.
- Allocate payments received by BACS, cheque or credit card.
- Reconcile the sales ledger each day.
- Open and distribute the post.
- Assist in debtor chasing and processing write-offs.
- Manage office stock levels.
- Assist in the processing of renewals and subscription releases.
- Maintain a ‘clean desk’ policy, including filing on a regular basis.
**About you**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills on the phone
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, order processing and accounts packages.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable and consistent
- Ability to work in a team with a flexible and positive attitude towards sharing tasks and workloads.
- Strong commitment to the aims of the organisation
