Our client is a well-established and growing business within the healthcare industry
are looking for an Account Manager to join their busy team based in Oxford on a
hybrid basis. (Approx once per week in office.)

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, well-organised self-starter to join the
new projects/business development team in a hybrid role across new project
generation and account management.

The 2 current team members have been with the company from the early days.
Everyone in the team takes initiative, owns projects and gets things done. Whilst we
work a lot independently, we enjoy sharing ideas and knowledge, and are always
available for a second opinion and to help each other. In account management,
there are around 20 colleagues working with existing clients to build relationship
with clients, deliver projects in a high quality and timely fashion and identify
growth opportunities.

This role is a hybrid role with a circa 50/50 split between new business and account
management.

For the new business part, the main focus of the role is to be responsible for
organising and executing the new lead generation processes for the company’s
core services.

The person will be focusing on qualifying leads, organising and documenting the
process, and bringing in senior sales colleagues and specialists along the process.

For the account management part, the main focus is to support an account
manager with key delivery tasks of a project and identifying growth opportunities.
The person will lead day-to-day client tasks independently as well as working jointly
with an account manager to build customer relationships with key stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Own the lead generation planning and execution, mainly through the

design and execution of new business campaigns (mail shots, calling
round, social media activities) - with content creation support from the
marketing team
- Organise contact data for target customers
- Research customer profiles and refine target customer base
- Ensure appropriate segmentation
- Make contact and engage with prospects which have shown an initial
- interest in the company’s services via marketing /sales campaigns- Organise the process, e.g. set up prospect meetings, organise agendas,

product demos, communicate actions and ensure follow ups etc. and
bring in appropriate colleagues to the sales process
- Ensure all process documentation is organised and completed, e.g.

pipeline and CRM reporting
- Support colleagues with proposal writing
- For existing accounts, work with the Account Manager(AM) to ensure

expectations of stakeholders are met/ ensures project documentation is
maintained to include all stakeholder key information
- Support the AM in the delivery of the project strategy/ monitors activity

data (and any wider KPIs) to ensure growth is reviewed
- Support the AM in the creation of any bespoke reporting requirements/

supports the AM in the delivery and interpretation of monthly reports to
clients
- Support to AM to ensure surveys go out to all key users on a regular basis/

works with the Marketing team to ensure surveys are appropriate for user
based on service provided/ collates and interprets results/ works with AM
to develop action plan
Skills required:

- Hard working and well organised

- A completer - finisher nature with excellent attention to detail
- Solid proposal writing skills
- Experience of interpretating data or willingness to learn
- Happy to work mainly independently but as part of a diverse team
- Previous prospect/client facing experience essential
- Good understanding about communication technologies and how they
- are deployed well- Knowledge about the NHS and how it commissions new technology is a

bonus

In return our client offers an enhanced benefit package and a salary of £28k-£30k
DOE plus a bonus scheme.
