Proclinical are recruiting a Senior DMPK Project Leader for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Oxford with the ability to work either on a hybrid or remote basis. The client is focused on discovering smarter and faster ways to find innovative treatments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Offer solid assistance to the AI/ML teams to recognise, produce, comprehend and challenge data from which to form and improve predictive DMPK models to allow virtual screening of new compound designs.
- Assist as well as challenge, if suitable, the comprehension of outcomes and translation into goals for design.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or similar with pertinent work experience of at least 5-10 years depending on degree level in a pharmaceutical or academia organisation.
- Relevant work experience in ADME and pharmacokinetics and demonstrated scientific accomplishment and project influence.
- Comprehension of pertinent DMPK fields, for example: physicochemical properties, drug metabolising enzymes and transporters, biotransformation reactions, pharmacokinetics, IVIVc, allometric scaling and human dose predictions.
- Able to translate data into project pertinence to predict and/or mitigate project concerns.
- Customer-oriented.
- Capable of having conversations with project leaders and critical shareholders to guarantee that project, scientific and resource demands are in line.
- Ability to bring a new perspective into the group as well as enthusiasm to tackle difficulties and learn new skills.
- A flexible individual with the ability to work across various projects simultaneously.
