**Higher Level Teaching Assistant**

**Fixed term until 31st July 2024**
**Full time, Term Time Only + 5 INSET days**
**BG9 £27,852 (£24,250 pro-rata)**
**Interview date: Wednesday 3rd May 2023**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Delivering targeted literacy intervention programs to small groups of students/individuals who require additional support in reading, writing and speaking.

Providing EAL support to students who are new to English, helping them to develop their language skills and build their confidence in using English.

Supporting classroom teachers in planning, delivering and evaluating literacy and EAL interventions to ensure they are tailored to meet the needs of individual students.

Monitoring and tracking the progress of students receiving literacy intervention and EAL support and reporting regularly to classroom teachers and the Senior Leadership Team.
