I have an exciting role for an Accounts Assistant to join my large manufacturing client based in North Ayrshire. The role is initially a fixed term contract for 1 year but may go on longer.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversight of accounts ledger including communication with customers to ensure timely collection of cash with regular internal reviews to highlight any issues requiring management support.
- Daily Bank reconciliations allocation of cash to customer accounts
- Credit Control - chase debt, liaise with customer services, resolve disputes, maintain debtor schedule, allocate cash receipts
- Prepare various journals for accruals, prepayments, credit notes,
- Support month end process by completing various reconciliations, analysis of financials, updating lead schedules, etc.
- Travel - organise travel arrangements for employees, booking transportation, accommodations, processing expenses
- Assisting with queries and reporting when required, supporting the Finance Manager and wider finance team
