Health Care Assistant - Radiology
- Oaks Hospital, Colchester

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary £21,500 plus enhancements from 30% to 100% for evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Oaks Hospital is a 58 bed facility including 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow Theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre.

The role

The Radiology Health Care Assistants will work closely with the Consultant Radiologists and will support the Ultrasound service by providing excellent patient care. As a HCA you will be responsible for assisting the Radiologists with examinations and support in the planning and booking ultrasound lists.

What you will do:
- Set up clinics and work with Consultant Radiologists during Ultrasound clinics- Assist with minor procedures e.g. US guided injections, biopsies- Face to face and telephone communication with patients and Consultants.- Administrative duties including finishing each examination properly and appointing patients for Ultrasound clinics.
