**Job Title**: Carer Support Adviser (Essex)

**Salary**: £13,824 per annum (£23,250 FTE)

**Contract**: 1 Year Fixed-term Contract

**Hours**: 22 hours per week - days flexible

**Location**: This is a hybrid role which involves community working in Essex and some home working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Carer Support Adviser to join our team in Essex.

As a Carer Support Adviser you will be part of our Operational Team, helping to improve the lives of carers through your work.

This role will include, managing conversations with carers to identify need, providing information, advice, and wellbeing support; running wellbeing groups and pro-active identification of carers through partnership working.

To be successful you will have experience of working with adults either in a 1:1 or group setting, a working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs and to complete statutory assessments. In return you will benefit from working for a not-for-profit organisation that delivers a service which makes a real difference to peoples’ lives.
