Caretaker

Our Client based in Ivybridge requires a Caretaker/ Handyman to join their existing team. This role will involve undertaking maintenance tasks both reactive & planned work as directed by the Premises Manager. To carry out inspections around the premises & resolve any findings.

Skills Required.
- Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to liaise with and assist external service providers. - Ability to work with and lead a team. - Flexible and adaptable in approach. - Range of general handyman skills such as general DIY skills, minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical. - Preferably from a trade or skills background, not necessarily formally qualified, but able to undertake more - Complex maintenance duties - Experience of managing maintenance spend.

Our client requires a DBS check to be carried out for the sucessful applicant. Possible permanent position after a successful qualifying period.
- Hours & Days of work : Monday - Friday, 37.00 Hrs per week between 07.00- 17.00 Hrs daily.
