**Finance Manager**

**£45,000 (raising to £50,000 on completion of probation)**

Four Squared Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Manager for a global recycling organisation.

Reporting to the UK FC, you will lead and manage the Business Unit’s financial accounting, reporting, cash flow management, business planning and control activities and ensure that they are carried out efficiently, accurately and in line with financial reportingstandards and group corporate governance policies & procedures

**Financial Reporting**
- Responsible for all finance and accounting processes and reporting requirements to strict deadlines
- Oversee compliance with the established finance processes and controls related to internal/external reports, monthly/year-end close and balance sheet review to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Manage the year-end closing activities and coordination with external auditors and Group HQ to generate the audited financial statements on a timely basis

**Online Business Systems**
- Accounting for and reporting for multi-channel online trading platforms with high transactional volumes
- Management
- of the integration of online payment platforms

**Cashflow Planning and Management**
- As a fast-moving online trading unit, cash flow planning and management will be a key requirement of the role
- Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting

**Tax Planning, Compliance and Reporting**
- Compliance with country tax reporting requirements
- A thorough understanding of VAT reporting requirements is required including Standard,Reverse Charge and Marginal Rate VAT schemes
- Basic understanding of transfer pricing; work with GroupTax Manager to ensure compliance with Group TP policy

**Finance Operations**
- Oversee adherence to the established policies and procedures on business operations and asset security/safeguards to ensure continued business viability and profitability

**Business Planning Process**
- Manage annual budgeting activities such as Group HQ reporting requirements and model templates
- Perform financial analyses and feasibility studies to enable key business decision-making

**Desired experience and education**
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of online trading platforms, websites,third party and comparison sites including online payment platforms such as Klarna, shopify, eBay, Paypal and others
- Local GAAP (Detailed knowledge)
- Auditing Techniques and Standards (Detailed knowledge)
- IFRS (Working knowledge)
- Local Tax and Legal Requirements (Working knowledge)
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in oral and written communication and able to quickly build rapport and effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, able to lead and develop a successful cohesive finance team
