Following substantial investment by leading global construction firm, GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), Elements Europe have a number of large projects in the pipeline and is looking to scale up the delivery capability with immediate effect.
**Job Title**: Stores Operative
**Level**: Employee
**Department**: Stores and Planning
**Reports to**: Stores and Planning Manager
**Direct Reports**: None
**Salary**: £11.81 per hour
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Working within a busy stores environment to supply a fast-paced bathroom pod and modular pod production line
- Picking parts, in line with production schedules, using manual pick notes and barcode scanners
- Ensure that all parts are picked efficiently and effectively to prevent any delays in production
- Replenishing any stock that is required by production, at short notice
- Maintain a log of stock on a computer-based warehouse system
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to Elements Europe Risk Assessment and Procedures
- Ensure housekeeping standards are kept at the level required
**Experience and Knowledge required**:
- Computer Literate (including SAP)
- Previously worked with warehouse/stock control systems
- Experience within a busy production supplying stores environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
- Punctual and reliable
- Experience carrying out these or similar tasks
