- On Track Education Westbury is an independent special school, with school places for 32 pupils aged 11 to 18 with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. It is one of seven schools operated by On Track Education Services, a not for profit organisation._
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support vulnerable young people aged 11 - 18 years, helping to raise their emotional wellbeing and their aspirations to learn
- Work as part of a team contributing towards meeting the academic, social, behavioural and emotional needs of young people
- Provide specific support, dependent upon the individual needs of the pupil, ensuring their safety whilst supporting access to learning activities.
**Personal Attributes**:
- Experience of working with children and young people
- An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
- An ability to effectively and positively manage challenging behaviour
- Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade C or 4 in English and Maths) and IT proficiency

**Salary**: £19,760 per annum. This is the actual salary as you will be paid all year round including during the school holidays.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 therefore certain spent convictions and cautions are ‘protected’, so they do not need to be disclosed, and if they are disclosed, we cannot take them into account.
