**All About Me**

I am 5 years old and live in Hornsea with my mum and dad. I am looking for a Support Worker to look after me and take me out and do lots of exciting things. I am smiley, happy and sociable and love the attention of familiar adults. I enjoy the attention of people around me: this can be when playing at home, in school and out in the community.

I love listening to music this includes nursery rhymes and watching the actions to the rhymes, but I may need some extra support to enable me to learn how to do this. I love to listen to stories, sharing my favourite books. I like watching my favourite programmes and love to be sung to as this makes me happy. I giggle and smile when I’m happy. I enjoy sensory and messy play, exploring a range of textures, including foods, and I like watching bubbles. I can hold a paint stick or crayon to create a masterpiece with some support.

I need a lot of support from an adult to keep me safe and help me move around, as can’t do this independently, and I need help with all my physical care. I need a little help with feeding and I have a gastrostomy where my special milk goes and medication to make me big and strong. I have a diagnosis of 4 limb quadriplegic cerebral palsy which means I need extra help from an adult to make everything accessible, to enable me to fully participate. Having an adult to support me, to socially interact with other children and play lots of fun games, will make me smile.
