We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 eRoster System Advisor to join our rostering team, to support the effective implementation and ongoing use of the eRostering system throughout the Trust.

Your priority will be ensuring staff rosters are optimised for the delivery of high-quality care, patient safety and staff well-being, whilst working collaboratively with services to reflect their requirements within the system and using judgement to develop an appropriate range of solutions for our users. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training and ad hoc user support on both the rostering system and SafeCare.

You will work closely and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as liaison with the system supplier for issue escalation, resolution, and exploration of system functionality.

Understanding of safe staffing and quality rosters is essential, as is experience of IT based solutions. You will possess excellent problem-solving and reporting skills, be confident to present in front of others and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
- To have a broad and highly detailed understanding of the eRostering and SafeCare systems, in order to ensure the system is configured and used in the most efficient and effective way, and act as the system expert for the Trust.
- New unit engagement and champion use of the system
- To work in collaboration with system users to trouble shoot, communicate and support continued improvements in our local key performance indicators (KPIs)
- To be a self-motivated and the ability to manage your own diary and team player
- The post holder will work closely with the services to promote good rostering practice and provide advice to assist users with best practices.
