Where in the world of OVO will I be working? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Visual Designer who wants to work on exciting new projects to help us reach Plan Zero. As OVO moves closer to 5m customers, we are expanding and scaling up our customer experience program to ensure we can design, implement and measure customer experiences across at all levels. Developing easy and effortless customer experiences journeys to help us move towards a world leading, carbon net zero customer experience. You will be a key part within our Customer Experience team, in a newly created Visual Designer role and collaborate with a wide range of other disciplines. Working closely with designers & Researchers, you’ll develop and execute plans to support product development on a daily basis. We use a variety of tools and methods to make the greatest impact. What will I be doing? This will be a hands-on role & vital in helping us to accelerate and achieve our customer experience goals and programmes of work. To always work collaboratively across the business to drive customer experience objectives at all levels and to promote CX expertise and skills, training in CX methodologies and techniques where appropriate Creation across multi channel designs, including, motion, animation, slide decks, board packs, brochures, infographics, charts & graphs, emails Using brand assets and making sure everything is aligned to the OVO Brand - our brand identity guidelines, tone of voice guides, assets and all the information people need to create for OVO Partnering with CX team on to bring our customer journeys to life You’ll be vital in creating our new journey maps as well as infographics, animation & videos Presenting to various stakeholders while passionately articulating your work Working on video production & motion graphics Translating data & insights into compelling stories for the business Be tenacious and curious in everything we do as a CX team, to bring the voice of the customer to the fore and to deliver the key improvements required, delighting our stakeholders and colleagues as we go. Ensure that we add value both commercial and to the customer, in all projects, activities and improvements undertaken. To be responsible for our own development, to be proactive in upskilling ourselves and our teams, supporting each other and excelling in teamwork and seeking to utilise all team members skills on projects Sharing, communicating and working with others Is this the job for me? Experience in-house or agency with great fundamentals across offline and online A background working on well-known national and international brands (with great customer in-life touchpoints) Desire to work for a purpose-led brand that can make a difference to our society A brilliant portfolio that showcases examples of branding across different touchpoints Experience in video production and motion graphic animation skills Experience working in creative partnerships with copywriters and developing ideas Brilliant presentation skills, with the confidence and ability to present and passionately articulate your work to different kinds of stakeholders Passionate about design, branding and the wider creative industry Impeccable technical skills (software and analog). Fluent in adobe CC (photoshop / illustrator / indesign, After Effects), sketch, Figma A conceptual problem solver who is able to deliver phenomenal ideas against our larger briefs, but that can spot opportunities to build moments of delight on our less prominent touchpoints also Innovative style, quick and calm thinking skills and a passion for problem solving Proven track record with creating excellent brand and design work from concept to production Ability to clearly articulate your design approach and rationale.
