An ecommerce retailer, The Kid Collective Ltd works predominantly B2C. As a re-seller, we work with multiple global brands within the nursery sector.

We are looking for an experienced Product Buyer to join our team to support a new and exciting acquisition project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a B2C procurement strategy, to delivery growth in sales and profit
- Proactive in sourcing new and exciting brands and products
- Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers to ensure favourable terms and conditions
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Forecasting and planning purchasing effectively, and being data driven in decision making
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions
- Ensuring in-stock positions are favourable and maintained
- Build and manage supplier relationships
- Coordinate with the Marketing Manager on promotional calendars, ensuring stock cover
- Identify and address gaps in the product range
- Creating purchase orders and liaising with the Operations Manager on deliveries
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- ability to negotiate with suppliers
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- strong strategic planning and organisational skills
- ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- willing and able to travel, to meet with suppliers and to attend trade shows, both nationally and internationally
