We are looking for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join our growing team At Simply Education we are working with a school who is looking for a dedicated and motivated HLTA to join their team and support their students to thrive. We are looking for HLTA's with SEND experience as you will be asked to support and deliver interventions to students who need additional support on top of leading classes. As a HLTA you will be working across the school to support a range of classes and different abilities.
The key responsibilities for a HLTA:
Plan engaging lessons and differentiate curriculum to suit students' individual learning needs
Implement specialized teaching strategies and learning supports for SEND students
Lead small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, speech & language, behavioural skills
Track student progress, identify areas of difficulty, and modify interventions accordingly
Collaborate with the SENCO in developing and implementing EHCP's
Maintain up-to-date student files, records, reports on learning progress and needs
Foster inclusive, supportive classroom environments where SEND students can thrive
Communicate with parents regarding student development, needs and successes
Requirements of a HLTA:
HLTA status or qualification
Experience working with children
Familiarity with SEND teaching methods and assisting with EHCP's
Strong behaviour management and student engagement skills
Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational abilities
Creative and resourceful in developing educational materials
Salary : £100 - 120 a day
Contract : Daily Cover / Long Term Roles Available
Hours : 8:30 till 4:30 - Monday to Friday
