The Institute of European and Comparative Law (IECL) is one of five institutes/centres in the Faculty of Law, and has its own dedicated space within the St Cross Building. The Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the IECL, as well as being the Administrator for the Law Faculty's 4-year Law with Law Studies in Europe (Course 2) degree and Student Exchange Programme.

The postholder is currently line managed by the Academic Administrator, although this is under review. This is a key position within the student administration team in the Faculty, with strong ties to research, finance, development and HR teams.

The successful applicant should be educated to degree level or equivalent, with excellent communication skills,

The position is full time and externally funded for one further year, during which time the administrative requirements of the Institute will be reviewed. It is an interesting and varied position that offers an ideal opportunity for a centre or student administrator seeking a secondment to further their career in academic administration.
