**Job Requirement**:
- Qualification in a GIS related field or significant experience in working with GIS software and data
- Proficiency with GIS software - ideally ArcMap 10.x and ArcGIS Pro
- Experience of working with data from asset management systems, ideally SAP
- Experience with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python
- Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel
- Experience in working with large datasets and in analyzing data quality
- Analytical mindset.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Decisive, able to quickly recommend changes
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Good communication skills including the ability to provide feedback and escalate issues
- Able to manage work in a structured and organized way, and to present back in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work within a team
The main duties of the role is to assist the Data Analysts & GIS Manager with the network transformation project and support the client in their day-to-day role.
The successful applicants will be self-motivated, able to work well as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
This can also include but is not limited to:
- GIS Project Work.
- Answering queries on Work-streams
- Working with large data sets
- Preparing Documentation for Work-stream Stage Gate sign off
- Assisting with the creation of business rules and process flows
**Desirable for the role are**:
- Utilities (Gas, Water, Electrical) knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good interpersonal skills.
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Land Surveying: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Glasgow City (required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Glasgow City: Relocate before starting work (required)
