We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team at The Malthouse, Rishworth.

The Malthouse is a traditional countryside pub and restaurant with guest rooms, set in a rural location in Rishworth near Sowerby Bridge, Halifax.

We are looking for someone to assist the Management team in maintaining the smooth running of the restaurant & pub. Achieving great customer service to all guests, inspiring and training other members of the team.

The Restaurant Supervisor is tasked to:

- Welcome and advise customers and be an effective communicator with guests/clients and at all levels of the venue
- Serve food and take orders effectively and with knowledge
- Take responsibility for the organisation of the Floor and food service
- To assist the Managers in the control of wage costs in line with budgetary requirements
- To support the Managers in the implementing and/or following of procedures concerning recording of stock movements e.g. correct charging of items, billing
- To ensure staff are fully trained and can talk knowledgeably about both menu and wines
- To pay attention to detail in all aspects of the customer journey and build positive relationships with clients/guests to ensure customer satisfaction
- To take prompt action to resolve complaints according to company policy
- Making sure daily opening and closing checklists are being completed and ensure all jobs are completed to the company standard.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
