Progress Lead
We are an 11-16 United Learning Academy with a roll of 1050 and in every year group we have waiting lists for places.
We believe that it is our job to ensure that education here at Marsden Heights provides our pupils with a silver spoon that life does not give to so many of our pupils.
We also believe that it is our job to ensure that our pupils are happy, safe and well and to this end, we make no apologies for our unwavering commitment to all aspects of safeguarding.
**The role**
The Pastoral Team comprises Head of School Sections at both KS3 and KS4 who lead a team of Progress Leads. Each year group has a Progress Lead who looks after their year group, engaging with pupils, parents and staff. Each Progress Lead is responsible for 210 pupils and has 8 Progress Tutors who they lead. As a school we check-in with our pupils first thing in the morning and we meet with them in the afternoon during our 30 mins of reading. We have some amazing pupils who deserve a Progress Lead committed to having a massive impact on their lives and someone who is their trusted adult who will support them by removing barriers and enabling them to succeed.
**About You**
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced colleague to join our successful and friendly school. We are very proud of our community at Marsden Heights Community College. We are an 11-16 United Learning Academy with a roll of 1050. The College is currently oversubscribed in every year group and we hold appeals panels every month.
