Ecommerce Lead

Neptune HQ, Swindon - Permanent, full-time

**The role**:
We're on the search for an exceptional eCommerce Lead who'll deliver the vision of our website, with accountability for the optimal commercial interpretation and implementation our brand's strategy across the online experience. You'll be ultimately accountable for driving conversion and profitable growth for Neptune's digital channel and a leader for Neptune's omnichannel strategy.

**In this key role you'll be working cross functionally, day to day you'll be responsible for**:

- Pushing the limits of what is possible in the vision for our omnichannel development and driving profitable growth, sensitively managing the transition from traditional brick & mortar to a digitally robust business
- Management of global trading, content and development plans and implementation of effective measurement frameworks
- Oversee the day to day running of the Neptune website including all sales, product and promotional launches, product content, merchandising, optimisation, reporting and general site administration
- Being a brand guardian and taking ownership of the aesthetic, functional quality and seamless user experience
- Bridging Technology and Business teams, taking responsibility for the prioritisation of the brand's technical BAU development stream and delivering maximum business benefit
- Creating effective and efficient customer journeys by working collaboratively across functions to implement these journeys through all digital touchpoints

You will also manage, plan and deliver onsite product launches, ensuring critical paths are put in place and all teams are aware of dependencies, undertaking their tasks for launch in a timely manner alongside overseeing the merchandising of our website, allowing for a seamless end to end journey for the customer.

You'll understand that beautiful design is nothing without great usability so you'll bring excellent analytical skills and a strong technical understanding across web platforms and google analytics. We're looking for someone with solid ecommerce leadership experience within eCommerce operations and website performance and ideally experience with Shopify. It goes without saying that you'll be deadline driven and able to juggle multiple tasks, pragmatic but creative in solution finding and extremely organised.
