Job Function/Purpose:
**To operate Saws and other machinery as required**

**DAY SHIFT: 8.00AM - 16.30PM**
- **FASTENER EXPERIENCE ADVENTAGEOUS**_

**Principal Responsibilities**:
1. To maintain productivity and traceability, and to ensure counts are correct

2. To Chamfer, saw material of various grades/sizes into cut lengths for processing into customers orders

3. To work to production program issued by the Engineering Manager

4. To keep saws, sawing and studding areas in a clean and respectable manner

5. Report any faults with saws or other equipment to your immediate Supervisor, and to liaise with same on purchase of spare parts

6. Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development

7. Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position

8. Cutting billets of bar for the machine shop

9. To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
