**Job Title**: Welder Fabricator (Factory Based)

**Reports to**: Production Manager

**Job Role & Purpose**

The job purpose of a welder fabricator based in a factory is to contribute to the manufacturing process by fabricating and welding metal components or structures according to the factory's production needs. The role is crucial in ensuring metal products' efficient and accurate production within the factory setting.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Interpret engineering drawings or production specifications to fabricate and weld metal components and vehicle pits.
- Use various equipment to cut, shape, bend, and assemble metal parts according to the specifications.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or removing any impurities, rust, or debris.
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated components to meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and rectify any defects or imperfections in the welds or fabricated parts.
- Operate various tools, machinery, and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, saws, and shears.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the production manager and other team members to understand production requirements.
- and provide input on design or process improvements. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination and successful completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production logs, quality control reports, and any required documentation related to safety or compliance.

**Health & Safety**
