**About the role**:
Due to exciting growth, we are looking for a Master Data Controller, to ensure the accuracy of business operating data to guarantee that customers and services are setup accurately and are invoiced correctly. Initially, this newly created role will be to help the company adopt and implement policies and processes to control and maintain data in the operating systems. Giving assurances for the accuracy of supplier master data and the integration of sub-contractors, ensuring that data flows efficiently and consistently between stakeholders. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility of working from home and at our head office, in Gloucester.

**Key Duties**:
Via self-delivery and through effective management of a team of 2-3 administrators
- Enter, upload, and maintain accurate customer master data in SAFE (Business Operating system) and SAGE200 (Financial system)
- Update and maintain customer purchase orders (POs). Circulate reports and manage actions to ensure that new POs are obtained from customers where old POs are expiring.
- Update and maintain customer service holds. Circulate reports and manage actions.
- Manage the non-key account price review process throughout the year, including tracking of price review date, communications with customers, and accurate amendment of prices in master data.
- Update key account customer prices working in close collaboration with the key account team.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports - e.g. Contract portfolio gains & losses, Expiring POs, Price review tracking, Cancellations
- Oversee sales commission data collation and processing, deal with queries from sales team
- Collation of data for newly acquired businesses within the Group, ensuring data integrity and a smooth on-boarding process working closely with the M&A project team and Finance team
- Set up on-going procedures, system enhancements, implement change controls.
- Maintain accurate operating procedures for SAFE and SAGE.
- Identifying SAFE improvements to enable control, audit or reporting.
- Promote accurate data quality and process flow.

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**
- GDPR
- Cross-system master data management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple work-streams, prioritise and respond quickly
- Fully conversant in Microsoft Packages (Excel & Word)
- Line management experience

**Desirable**
- Process design
- Understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution)
