We are seeking a highly collaborative **Data and Information Management Specialist** to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in providing data-related decision support and information management for our Highways projects.

As the Data and Information Management Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with relevant data standards, particularly Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the BIM Execution Plan. Your primary responsibility will be to promote data utilisation and data quality within the business area, focusing specifically on project controls data. Working closely with the core project team, the wider Highways team, the Technology team, and the client, you will manage and steward project data and derive valuable insights and reports from it.

- Ensure compliance with data standards, including BIM and the BIM Execution Plan.
- Understand the data standards and calculations of key performance indicators (KPIs) in reports and dashboards.
- Maintain and enhance PowerBI dashboards to meet data and information needs, transitioning the management team from lagging to leading indicators of performance.
- Collaborate with the Technology function to resolve system issues and highlight data gaps for required project reporting.
- Manage the project SharePoint site and project files, supporting the project team in utilising SharePoint as the project document repository.

- Knowledge of data stewardship principles and practices.
- Familiarity with BIM practices and standards in the construction industry.
- Relevant educational qualifications or equivalent experience in areas of study related to data management, construction project management, or similar field.
