Seamstress

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform precise measurements for fabric fittings
- Stitch commercial fabrics to fit bespoke furniture
- Create cushions, back pieces, top stitch, double stitch, and overlock
- Work independently and within a team to complete tasks within allocated time frames
- Utilize industrial sewing machines effectively

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract furniture or a related industry
- Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines
- Knowledge of a variety of sewing techniques
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet daily and weekly targets
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Additional Information:

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
- 28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays
- Job type: Full-time
- Salary: £11.00-£18.00 per hour
- Benefits: Company events, company pension, on-site parking
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme, commission pay, performance bonus, quarterly bonus
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of contract furniture experience required
