- has the vision and dedication to take on the role of OLOR’s SENCO, motivating all pupils, ‘to be the best they can be’, promoting a fully inclusive culture.
- has excellent communication and organisational skills and will build close working, respectful partnerships, with families and local agencies.
- will oversee the work of teaching assistants, creating bespoke interventions and learning opportunities, leading staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children.
- is determined and resilient and has high expectations for all, willing to engage in all aspects of school life.
- is flexible, a team player and has a good sense of humour.
